aa-dit-ya-ha

aa, dith, ya (as in yeah), ha (as in hard)

One who ‘receives’ the life of all

Notes:

The word Aditya here comes from ‘Adatte iti adityaha”. Sun, everytime he rises and sets, “accepts” one day of our lives. Hence he is Aditya. But during Pralaya, Vishnu receives even the Sun’s life. HE is Aditya to the Sun. Hence HE is Aditya.

Om Adityaaya Namaha Om
