Name: Eshwaraha
Pronunciation:
ee-sh-wa-ra-ha
ee (as in easter), sh (as in shake), wa (as in water), ra (as in run), ha (as in hard)
Meaning:
The Lord of even Brahma and Rudra
Notes:
Vishnu is the Supreme. HE is the Lord of even “Eeshas”. Eeshas, such as Brahma and Rudra, are our controllers. Our life is governed by Brahma while Rudra rules our mind. Similarly, other devatas rule other parts of our body. Vishnu is “vara” to the “eeshas” which means HE is superior to even the eeshas. Hence HE is Eshwara.
Namavali:
Om Eshwaraaya Namaha Om
